I loved the food here! It's great if you want to try food from all over the world. Very unique and interesting dishes. The chengdu chicken & waffles was delicious. I'd also recommend the sunny bunny. Great spot!

Came here looking for some night bites after convention day. It was one of few places still open and sounded interesting. Friend and I decided to split a bunch of things. Some good, some not so much. Started with the "Thai Mang Da Na" - 'for the adventurous' because my friend likes to try let's say some unusual things... They are large water thai beetles, salted and have "Intense Flavors of Fruit". I found these to be gimmicky and not very "meaty" if you will. They were way salty and expensive at $20 for 3. They are not that big. I'd never get these, but my friend really wanted to and having tried it, I can't recommend. I got the Beetlejuice cocktail (coincidently named this as it's been a long-standing menu item and nothing to do with the movie coming out) was another disappointment. It's supposed to have all these flavors, and I sipped it slowly, it tasted like straight vodka. It was slightly cheaper than the run of the mill cocktails and I see why. Skip this, the 'Old Kochi' was much better. What was the good? Shared a plate of the East Indie Brussels which were great, and the Chengdu wings were excellent. The peppers on the wings give it an unexpected kick and the presentation is great. The "Bunny chow" (basically chicken masala) served in what looks like half a loaf of bread was ok. Interesting take on the popular Indian dish. The highlight for me were the ribs, perhaps because I so seldom have them. Great flavor, expensive but large and tender. The turmeric and soy glaze were great with a fair portion, it is shareable. Some misses, but overall, a great place with some experimental takes on popular dishes with prices to match. Would go back though, would recommend.

The service was amazing. My cousin had reserved dinner for 7 people on a weekday. Our waitress was very patient and answered many of our questions. One of the waitresses had overheard us talking about buying some water and pointed us to a 7/11 nearby. They were all rock stars. And the restaurant had a good vibe with interesting cool decorations. The menu is unique and extensive in different culture dishes. There's something for everybody. The wings were sweet and salty with a hint of a caramelized fish sauce coating. The war chips were delicious, I'd get that again. Crispy fries, sauce hit the spot and onions to add brightness. There wasn't a dish a member of my family didn't like. Love to come back and try more dishes and their signature cocktails.

We went there on a weekday evening for dinner. All of the food we ordered was so good. We ordered South African Bunny Chow, French Tacos, Tower of Chengdu Wings, and Malaysian Dhal with Roti Canai. Everything was so flavorful and good portions. We would come back to try brunch menu next time.

I was visiting Seattle and met up with a friend and her coworker here because they were feeling adventurous, and this place had an interesting menu. We made a reservation for a Thursday dinner at 5 pm, but there weren't that many customers anyway, so we would've survived without one. But it was good just to stay safe! I ordered a South African Bunny Chow ($24), while my friend and her coworker ordered a Korean Bibim Naengmyeon ($20) and a Portuguese Peri Peri Chicken Sandwich ($21). My South African Bunny Chow was served in a square bread bowl, which I'm pretty sure was a Pullman loaf but they took out the white bread filling(?). Anyway, the bread bowl was soft, and the bunny chow was delicious. It was a lot of curry and they gave a decent amount of chicken. It was so good that I ate the entire thing, had a food coma, but had no regrets. Overall, it's definitely not cheap, but the South African bunny chow was so good that I would come back to either get it again, or try another one of their options.

Great food from all over the world. The butter tray and pineapple cornbread are delicious starters. The decor is from all over and it's very interesting. I went with a large group and they were able to cater to all of us easily and in a nice manner.

The restaurant is quite unique and has a lovely worldly menu that doesn't showcase the most well-known dishes. That being said, the flavors are really similar to other things most people have had - so don't be afraid to try something new! We had South African Bunny chow, which is essentially curry in a clam chowder bread bowl (but only soft bread) and French Tacos which were like steak burritos. Where I dock points is the restroom. It might be a small thing to some, but it is basically out of the restaurant. You need to walk down a corridor and arrive at the restroom where you enter a code. This corridor was really sketchy, perhaps just crowded with packaging and dimly lit (I forget exactly) but I just felt like I barely wanted to be there and I'm a full grown adult. Parking is also pay to park; there a couple lots nearby - but Capitol Hill is busy as is, and I went on a weekday.

Great food! Nue offers a variety of global dishes, so it's fun to try unique items. The setting is pretty casual and the service is quick. We got the South African bunny chow, the Chengdu spicy jumbo chicken wings, Dutch fries, French tacos, and kale and carrot salad. I enjoyed the food, especially the South African bunny chow! The Chengdu wings came as an impressive tower, but were a little too salty. The French tacos were good, but came out more in a burrito form. Overall I enjoyed my experience here, and trying different global cuisines! I'd recommend trying the South African bunny chow!
